Unfortunately, the molding process can not produce perfectly flat bottoms or sharp edges.  The most critical area is the back 6 inches of each sponson  This area needs to be perfectly flat side to side and from front to back. After this area the sponsons should follow a smooth upward curve toward the front of the boat.  The trailing edge of the sponsons should be perfectly straight right out to a very sharp edge.  The dark areas in the picture have been filled with Bondo and sanded.
