What does B&M Manufacturing make?
We build fiberglass model boats. The designs available are the Leecraft XTR-21 3.5cc size outboard tunnel hulls and the Leecraft XT-460 7.5 and 11cc size outboard tunnel hulls.
What are the sizes of these boats?
The Leecraft XTR-21 is 27 in. long and 12 in. wide with a 6 in. wide tunnel.
The Leecraft XT-460 is 35 in. long and 15 in. wide with a 7 1/2 in. wide tunnel.
Describe the construction.
The boats are constructed either from glass cloth and mat with polyester resin, or from two to four layers of glass and carbon fiber cloth with epoxy resin. The polyester resin boats are gel coated and do not need painting. The epoxy boats are primed but need painting.
What is included?
All boats come with complete construction and setup instructions as well as a radio box. Otherwise the purchaser furnishes engines, radio, and standard hardware.
Do I need a deposit to order a boat?
No, we usually can ship boats immediately from stock. Boats must be paid for in full before shipment.
How are the boats shipped?
Normally we ship UPS ground in the continental US. We also ship UPS second day air or air freight to over water locations. Shipping costs are not included in the price.
Are you working on different designs and materials?
We continue to improve the design of all our boats to keep up with higher speeds now possible.
