My Semi-Hollow series was born of the need for a comfortable, lightweight semi-hollow archtop that had a genuine depth and richness to its voice. Other thinline guitars with solid hardwood center sections often have a distinct "solid body" sound with little note complexity or dynamics.

Essentially, my semi-hollow guitar is a small bodied archtop with parallel bracing that extends through its body and couples with its back. The result is a much improved acoustic tone over solid center thinline guitars, low weight, and a strong resistance to feedback through an amplifier. Spruce topped versions of this guitar often weight only 5lbs. making it ideally suited for extended playing.

Due to the way in which I construct these guitars there is a wide variety of body shapes, sizes, and styles possible all within the base price. Everything from very small, shallow guitars to wide, deep sizes in both single or double cutaway shapes are available. I enjoy these guitars a great deal as each one is a very unique creation.
