I look forward to hearing any questions or comments you might have regarding my instruments. If you are interested in possibly purchasing one, I encourage you to start a dialog with me so that I can begin to understand your specific needs.
I also invite you to request a CD of any current recordings I may have of my guitars and mandolins. As time has passed I have received recordings from former customers and have recorded several new instruments here in my home studio. Additionally, I encourage you to query the rec.music.makers.guitar.jazz newsgroup as it's possible that owners of Holst guitars are active participants there. It's also possible for me to arrange for you to directly contact former clients of mine to discuss my guitars.
Typically, I require a non-refundable deposit of 1/3 the final cost of the instrument to secure a place on my waiting list. The length of time that your order will stay on this list can fluctuate, so I invite you to inquire as to current delivery times.
Throughout the building process I will keep you current with the progress I am making and with how the instrument's voice and tonality are developing. I always feature "in-progress" photos on this web page of my current orders. Over the months our collaborations will work to create an instrument of beauty and function specifically designed for you and your musical needs. All of my guitars and mandolins are warranted against defects for life to the original purchaser.
I'd like to finish up by saying that I believe collaborating with a luthier to produce the instrument of your dreams is a very special experience. I hope to one day be a part of that experience with you.
