PURCHASING
I require a non-refundable deposit of 1/3 the final cost of the instrument to secure a place on my waiting list. The length of time that your order will stay on this list can fluctuate, so I invite you to inquire as to current delivery times.
Throughout the building process I will keep you current with the progress I am making and with how the instrument's voice and tonality are developing. I always provide "in-progress" photos on CDR with every order so you can see exactly how your particular instument came together. Over the months our collaborations will work to create an instrument of beauty and function specifically designed for you and your musical needs.
WARRANTY
Instruments are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for my life as an active luthier. Damage due to normal wear and tear, abuse, neglect, extremes of temperature or humidity, or natural disaster are not covered. Owners are expected to properly care for their instrument.
RETURNS
After 10 days of receipt, if the instrument is not right for you, it can be returned for the purchase price, less the deposit. If the instrument exhibits any damage incurred while in the customer's care, the cost of repair will also be deducted.
I look forward to hearing any questions or comments you might have regarding my instruments. If you are interested in purchasing one, I encourage you to start a dialog with me so that I can begin to understand your specific needs. To learn more about what others are saying about me and my work, I encourage a visit to Harmony Central or a query to Google Groups as it's possible that owners of Holst guitars are active participants there. It's also possible for me to arrange for you to directly contact former clients of mine.
I'd like to finish up by saying that I believe collaborating with a luthier to produce the instrument of your dreams is a very special experience. I hope to be a part of that experience with you.
