Adorable and thought provoking book. We read it to our 6 yo dd - who enjoyed it and is still chewing on some of the deeper levels of the book. Good literature, with no offensive language, and only dim shadows of violence.

Roni Johnston

I read this book fairly recently (after compiling the reading list). I didn't think much of it. It was okay, but not especially riveting. I don't feel like I need to have it my personal library as a "must-read" for my children.
