The Going To Bed Book

ISBN: 0671449028, Published by Little Simon, 13 pages.

A great way to introduce the different things to do to get ready for bed, with the usual silly pictures and easy to read words and phrases. Once again, the rhyming and rhythms lend themselves well to silliness and singing, and both of my children liked it either way. It's amazing how difficult pulling on a pajama top can be when you're a moose with large antlers. Lots of fun for all.

Though I think Boynton books are cute - they seem really to have little literary value beyond that. I find that my kids are not interested in the books other than the initial interest in the pictures. Kids seem to be able to handle much more meaty and interesting material than this.
