Diagrams to color

If you don't want to find an arrangement by just moving blocks around, you can copy the diagrams on page 39 of "Answers & Extras" to plan your arrangement. Print out as many copies as you wish, then color them with colored pencils. The basic lines of the designs are given, but you have a lot of leeway in how you color them in. Here are some of the many ways one diagram might be colored.

Here are some of the diagrams from page 39. (Notice how having seams run horizontally or vertically affects the design,)

H-V means the top left-hand block has Horizontal seams, the one next to it vertical seams. Designs on page 44 of Sizzling Quilts from a Simple Block use this pattern. The V-H diagram is for arrangements on page 48, where seams go the opposite direction.

When Reverse blocks are added (the ones with dots), the possibilities are greater. The H-V diagram is for designs on the left side of page 123 in Sizzling Quilts from a Simple Block. The V-H diagram is for designs on the right side of page 127.

This page is similar to page 146 of Sizzling Quilts from a Simple Block, but better for Super Sixteen projects because it focuses on 16  blocks.
