Mission of ESAAY          
To create an interconnected community among our local Eugene/Springfield Asian-American Youth, who value, cherish their cultural heritage and will contribute towards building a quality intercultural community through activity-based; skill-based; community-based Community cultural services.

Benefits of ESAAY
Sustaining and promoting cultural awareness, self-growth and understanding of Asian/Asian-American and Intercultural Issues through cultural community service activities.

· Sponsorship of community-based intercultural activities
· Performing cultural community services in our local and regional area   which count toward resume and career building skills, sustainability   of existing cultural organizational activities, i.e., Asian Celebration;   language mentoring, cultural performances

 

· Developing leadership skills that expand multiple opportunities   including, social, educational, employment and career enhancement   tools and choices.                                                                     · Developing natural social support resource, friendship and community   linkage between ESAAY, their families and across community at large
· Facilitates developing/building/fulfilling community resources & needs.   Also, (increasing interconnectedness that can decrease our minority   youth to choose leaving their community and families.)
· Developing a natural community-based recruitment and retention   strategy for linkage between high-school to higher education through   coordination and working together with our local and regional higher   education.
· More choices...more opportunity....more skills...more community   building...
